From Mille, you will get there by the D3, one of the prettiest roads in the area, with hardly any traffic and lined with vineyards and woods. Perched on the nord face of the Luberon mountain, Bonnieux is not really a destination for tourist buses. You will like its steep small streets, nice cafés and restaurants, and its panoramic views. Its rich architecture illustrates its history since the Avignon papacy.

A nice, easy walk 6km away is through the Forêt des Cèdres: only 1.5 km long, the path is accessible to children and disabled people. The magnificent trees (planted in 1852) offer a welcome shade in summer.
